Image ChangesImage Changes

Today, more and more businesses are having to change their image more frequently as a result of unforeseen organizational restructuring or forming new corporate alliances—all of which impact their sign requirements.

If you have a sign that is leased...
You have the option to replace the sign at the end of the lease term with no further obligation. National Neon would be pleased to develop a proposal to meet your new requirements. That the sign could have little or zero residual value at the point of replacement is the sign lessor’s problem—not yours. Often, modifications can be made at the sign lessor’s expense as part of a renewal agreement, with possibly little or no change in rental rate.

If you own your sign...
A major imaging change can very well render your investment as a sunk cost (unrecoverable). While it’s entirely possible that relatively minor modifications can be done at a lower cost than an entirely new sign, you will likely be paying retail price for them and retrofits can be expensive even with backlit signs where the face and graphics are often close to half the cost of the entire fixture.
