We encourage you to ask these questions of
your signage supplier— it will help you be more objective
in making a decision. For the most part, these criteria apply
to both leased and purchased signs.
• How
long has the company been in business? - National
Neon has been in the business of making signs since
1949.
• Are their products CSA-certified?
- National Neon’s products have been consistently certified
since 1958.
• Is your sign manufacturer
open to having their plant and operations inspected?
National Neon encourages this because not only does it prove
to be an eye-opener for our clients but it also inspires confidence
as they see the kind of painstaking detail we invest in every
piece that leaves our plant.
• Do they have a good track
record with long-term repeat customer? National Neon
has in its roster, numerous clients who have maintained contracts
with us for 20 or more years.
• Have they maintained a significant
lease customer base? This is a good indicator or customer
satisfaction. National Neon has a solid long-term lease customer
base.
• Does the deal sound too good
to be true? Compare quotes with other reputable sign
companies. If it still looks too good to be true, then it
probably is. Some unscrupulous suppliers will cut corners
by using sub-standard parts or off-spec methods in an attempt
to undercut competitors. This will prove to be a burden to
you down the road, translating into higher and more extended
maintenance and upkeep.
